Center for Hearing is committed to providing the best possible care to all patients. During these unprecedented times, we remain committed to each patient’s hearing health while following CDC guidelines on sanitation and cleanliness. We want to assure patients that, at this time, Center for Hearing remains open and able to help with any hearing and/or hearing aid problems. Some of our usual clinic routines have been adjusted to best serve our community:
- Sanitizing and Disinfecting
We are taking extra measures to sanitize and disinfect clinical areas between every patient in addition to our routine cleanings.
- Curb-Side Services
We are now providing curb-side services to decrease the number of individuals entering the clinic. Simply call the clinic when you arrive (479-785-3277) and we will come to get your hearing aids, bring them into the clinic to sanitize and clean them, then return the devices to your care. Curb-side service is also available for battery delivery.
- TeleHealth
In efforts to help with social distancing, we are excited to announce a HIPAA-compliant TeleHealth system. Patients are now able to meet face-to-face with a doctor or technician through a device with a camera. We can walk patients through connectivity issues with their hearing devices and phones or look at a hearing aid and walk them through cleaning.
- In order to utilize this service, patients must have access to a device with a camera (phone, tablet, or computer) and an email to access an appointment-session link.
- We can complete a new-patient interview and case-history appointment over TeleHealth.
- This service is available for all individuals (not just CFH patients) that need help with their hearing devices and do not want to come into the clinic.
Our team hopes these adjustments can continue to serve our patients well. If you have any additional questions or concerns at this time, please call our office to speak to a Center for Hearing team member.
